For the benefit of the Residents of North Tyneside
A waiting list shall be kept in order of the date of application.
When a plot falls vacant it shall generally be offered to the person whose name is at the top of the waiting list.
Exceptions to this shall be:
- When the plot has been maintained by the plot holder and an associate member, in the event that the plot holder resigns or is unable to continue, then it shall be up to the discretion of the committee to offer the plot to the associate member
- At the discretion of the Committee preference may be given to any such potential garden tenant with special circumstances.
- The Committee can require a plot holder, who is no longer able to maintain a full plot to a satisfactory standard, to give up half of their plot for the Committee to reallocate according to the agreed procedure.
